The Secaucus Housing Authority swore in two commissioners at its last meeting on May 26 at The Elms.  Inocencia “Carmen” Rivera of Kroll Heights was sworn in as Commissioner fulfilling the Authority’s requirement to have a Resident Member.  The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development regulations require each housing authority to have one resident commissioner on its board.  Ms. Rivera has been a resident of Kroll Heights for seven years and was past president of the Kroll Heights Impreveduto Towers Tenant Association.  Also sworn in for his second full five-year term is Michael Schlemm.  Commissioner Schlemm is currently the Vice-Chairperson and was first appointed to the Board in February 2011.
