The Secaucus Housing Authority’s (SHA) fiscal year begins April 1 and ends on March 31. Each year SHA must submit a budget to HUD and the NJ Department of Community Affairs (DCA). The SHA must conduct an audit at the end of each fiscal year which also must be submitted to HUD and DCA.

All authorities shall maintain either an Internet website or a webpage on the municipality's or county's Internet website. The purpose of the website or webpage shall be to provide increased public access to the authority's operations and activities. N.J.S.A. 40A:5A-17.1 requires the following items to be included on the Authority’s website at a minimum for public disclosure.

Certification of Vendors receiving $17,500 or more during the FY that ended 3.31.23
A list of attorney, advisors, consultants or any other person, firm, business, partnership, corporation or other organization that received in excess of $17,500 or more during the preceding fiscal year for any service whatsoever rendered to the Authority.
